Holy Moley!!
I've been gone for way too long!
My whole world has been topsy turvy the last couple of months. I've moved into a new house --striking out on my own (with my roommate)-- and I have so many bills to pay. It's crazy how much things like electricity and water cost. Seriously, we take for granted such simple utilities when we're not paying for them. Anyway, enough of that. I got a new job about a month and a half ago. I've worked with Cinemark (movie theatre company) for 5 years, and I took a year off because of school and such, so I went back to work with them this May. I worked as an employee for a week before they told me that they were promoting me to manager. And I've been managing since. It's been fun and crazy busy. The summer is speeding by, and I barely have time to catch my breath.
So yeah. I've been at work constantly, while squeezing in a Field Biology class and very little social time. I feel like my social life has been put on a shelf for the time being as I try to straighten out the business parts first. That means very few friends, some family on the phone, and no boyfriend (but that's not really changed much, has it). I barely have time to do my laundry let alone keep track of what's going on with my heart. I just let it beat away in whatever direction it wants as I try to ignore it. It just has to be patient until I can clear my mental schedule in order to take a listen. That doesn't mean that Krissy doesn't have her any crushes. Oh, she does. She's got her one, but she will not pursue (against the urging of a friend or two -- for once I want to play it smart... which just may be stupid). Life's just too confusing and difficult right now. My heart's been thumping quite loudly lately, and while I tell it to wait a bit, it just doesn't seem to care. Ah well. This is how these things happen. The second you have absolutely no time for shenanigans, it springs up out of nowhere.
If you've missed me during my silence, I apologize. I do have a little album of pictures that I need to upload but haven't had the chance. Some time very soon I'll get those up, hopefully.
Well, I must dash. Go see a movie. Star Trek and Up are really good. I haven't seen Transformers yet. You'd think that if I worked at a movie theatre, I be up on all the new releases. Oi veh!
Drink some water too. Stay hydrated. It's hot out there (in the Northern Hemisphere anyway).
*Muah!*

PS. I'm trying this new journal skin uploading thing. Kinda cool. This week's a howling wolf. Very lovely. I like it.

Burrning fires buring lives on the long distant roads through the last man left standing so far away from home. Shadow soldiers forever through the ice and cold , we will fight through the darkness that we call our home.
